For Journal Papers
Each journal has its own web page with the aims and scope on the first page. Furthermore, all journals show the menu item "Submit Journal Paper". There, you are kindly asked to register or to LogIn with your existing IN-TECH password and to upload your manuscript for respective journal. After the registration you will get login data for the access in My IN-TECH. There you can check the status of your submission.
For Book ManuscriptsBook authors have to login in the IN-TECH and follow links within My IN-TECH Box. If you forgot your login data please contact book manager directly.
Multimedia Content We encourage the submission of a multimedia appendix with each publication. This on-line appendix is an adjunct to the print version of your publication and may contain video clips, images, graphs and charts, generalnumerical data, models, programs, and audio. Upload system allows usual video and audio formats as well as ppt and pdf. Multimedia content of the publications are published on the IN-TECH Web page at no additional cost.
How to Submit Multimedia Content? After the publishing of your journal paper / book chapter you can add Multimedia Content to your publication by login with your usual user name and password in the IN-TECH system. Within "My IN-TECH" box click on Extend/Refresh My Publication link, select publication title you wish to add multimedia content and upload new content.
Referencing of the Multimedia ContentA multimedia object that supplements the paper is referred as Extension. Since they are not present in the pressed publication or in electronic form of the publication, a method of clearly and consistently referring to the material is required.
Within the text we use the term Extension in a similar way to the terms Figure or Table. Like Figures and Tables, the Extensions have ascending integer labels starting at 1. Between Conclusion and Reference parts of the paper we add a part with the title "Index to multimedia Extensions" with the following text: The multimedia extensions to this publication can be found online by following the hyperlinks from www.intechweb.org This is then followed by the index of Extensions. This index contains Name of Extension, Media Type and short description of the Extension content.
