Computational thinking and integration of computation around the physical dynamic systems form Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) where sensing, decision, actuation, computation, networking and physical processes are mixed. This journal disseminates the latest research results in the emerging fields of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). CPS is considered as a new generation of engineered systems that combines and integrates physical systems and networks. CPS is foreseen to become a highly researched area harnessing the 20th century IT revolution in the years to come. Its applications span over a variety of industrial sectors and applications including biomedical, assistive devices for healthcare, automotive, aerospace and avionics, transport and traffic control, agricultural, natural resource usage control, environment monitoring and management, process control, manufacturing, and buildings.
Scope of the journalThis journal provides up-to-date coverage of worldwide research activities relating to methodologies, multi-domain design, developmental work, experimental results, and applications of Cyber-Physical Systems.
Manuscripts are solicited in the following topics but not limited to:Human-centric Cyber Physical Systems (CPS)
Multi-domain design
Enabling embedded components in CPS
New mission scenarios of CPS
Cooperative sensing policy in CPS
Cooperative actuation policy in CPS
Mobility (e.g. mobile sensors and mobile actuators) in CPS
Collaborative robotics, robot-robot / human-robot collaboration
Human interface technology
Augmented virtual reality and haptics technology
Information sharing and agreement in CPS
Random delay effects and communication management in CPS
Virtualization and virtual organization (VO) in CPS
Complexity measures for CPS

Applications: environmental, ecological, biomedical, manufacturing control, etc.
Paper Processing ChargesInternational Journal of Cyber-Physical Systems is an Open Access journal. Publishing an article in International Journal of Cyber-Physical Systems requires Paper Processing Charges that will be billed to the submitting author upon acceptance of the paper for publication.
Paper processing charges: 30 Eur for first 6 pages, each additional page is 20 Eur
Publication Procedure
1. Instructions for Authors
To ensure rapid refereeing and publication, submit the Manuscript in MSWord and PDF formatted according to the Instructions for Authors.
Download Instructions for Authors in
MS Word or
PDF format.
2. Submit the Paper
Submissions must represent original work, whose copyright is not already owned elsewhere. Originality, creativity and cross-disciplinary approach or perspectives are strongly encouraged.Publication of conference papers which have been substantially rewritten and augmented to be suitable for journal publication are allowed. However it is the authors' responsibility to check for possible copyright conflict with the copyright holder. Significant duplication of the conference paper and parallel submissions are not allowed. In such case IN-TECH can withdraw the publishing right to author and all co-authors of the paper for a substantially long time.
The review process is done entirely electronically, so it is essential for you to provide an electronic file of your paper. Submission have to be done electronically.
3. Review Process
All contributions are submitted to referees. Names of referees will be kept confidential, but their comments will be relayed at the discretion of the Editor. We aim to have your paper reviewed within 4 months of receipt of an electronic file.
4. Submission of final paper
Corresponding Author of accepted paper will get Notification of Acceptance, review notes, deadline for final paper submission and publishing schedule per e-mail.
5. Publishing
Final papers delivered before the final submission deadline will be published as scheduled.
