Scope and Topics of the Journal

The International Journal of Interactive Multimedia (IJIM) is a peer reviewed publication which combines interdisciplinary research articles, reviews and short papers in the scientific, theoretical and creative domains of interactive multimedia. The development of fully-featured interactive multimedia applications in a wide variety of fields ranging from communication and business to games and interactive art is supported by the availability of networked sensors and advanced processing capabilities.

Interactive Multimedia represents an evolving research field that combines multimedia technology and communication/interaction theory into innovative interactive media-rich applications. The Journal of Interactive Multimedia seeks to present state-of-the-art research and examine applications within the interactive multimedia field.
