Scope and Topics of the Journal

The International Journal of Agricultural Chemistry offers a selection of peer-reviewed manuscripts about the latest scientific advances in the field of agricultural chemistry and presents ongoing developments within this scientific area, as well as their impact on the environment.

The application of a broad range of insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and plant growth regulators used today contributes greatly to pest control and agricultural output, thus satisfying the demand of extensively growing populations and increased food and fiber production. However, with all the latest advances come the yet unforeseen risks. Contributions from today's top experts in the related fields will periodically offer new perspectives on the current progress in agrochemicals research.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Pesticides management, control, and impact in modern world
  • Pesticides production, use, regulation and socioeconomic impact
  • Identity, physical and chemical properties of pesticides
  • Advanced analytical methods for pesticide residues quantification
  • Pesticides and human health
  • Ecological effects of pesticides
  • Species ecology and management
  • Weed distribution
  • Herbicide resistance
  • Integrated weed management
  • Herbicide control
  • Biodiversity, biocontrol, bioherbicides
  • Crop safety
  • Weed control

Audience

The journal is addressed to both practicing professionals and researchers in the field of agrocultural chemistry, professionals in academia, former researchers and PhD students and other specialists interested in the results of research in agricultural chemistry.
